Well it looks like Doug's new Gas plane will be

GOT ME SOMTHING TOO
33% Aviation Models Extra 260. This one is going
to way too much fun to build and fly.

Seagull Yak 54 90 and Extreme Flight Yak
74,some servos and a 6 vlt battery, G 3.5
simulator also,Santa was at my house for a while
this year,hahaha

I got a G4 simulator, an Extreme Flight Yak 54E
with all the accessories (its RTF now), and a
75" Ultra RC Katana. Byron, when you gonna bring
that new Extra up here and fly with us again?

LEARNING NEW STUFF
Well the new IMAC charts are in and I been
working on them. This years scheduls are harder
than last years. Theres a lot of inverted flying
this year.I have the intermidate schedul
memorized and have been flying it at the field.
Will start working on advanced asap but my goal
is to be flying unlimited by summer.The YAK flys
them great but the extra does certain things
better than the YAK and vise versa. Will be one
HECK of a learning experiance.

small this year LOL! To you guys getting into
gaint scale the plane fly alot better but will
break the bank if something goes wrong.For those
of you that fly bigger plane know what im
talking about.So i`ll leave you with this check
and double check before each flight.And if you
need help please ask,you will be glad you did.

Gee-Bee
Well Doug is getting that Gee-Bee ready to fly,
he isn't going to fly nothing else untill he has
it going. Now wonder how long the weather is
going to keep him working on it??

Gas or Glow ?
160 size plane will run either and only about 40
dollars differnce,any suggestions,opinions,snied
remarks

What ever floats the plane. It may be 40$ more
but you will save that much by not buying 2
gallons of glow fuel.

Still Posting
I haven't been back in a while but I see there's
still some fresh activity.
Hey Byron, I like the thought, "Fly it like you
stole it.", but I still have to deal with the
pucker factor at times. :-o
GeeBee landing was good the first time, the second
time was a little rough, but it lives to fly again.

Ease of the pucker
After you get a couple puckers in it loosens up
after awhile. Try not to eat any salt or
anything sour before you go fly for the day.Here
is my cure for the PUCKER,1 cup of a really deep
breaths 2 cups of heads up 3 tlbs of man i
almost lost it,and then when you have 1 pair of
adrenalin underwear you've pretty much got it
licked.And now the cure for ADRENALIN
UNDERWEAR,take serval glasses of KEEP DOING IT
eventully it will cure itself sometimes but it
depends on how much you keep doing it. LOL
|
Any Word on the Trees
Benn over a month since meeting,has anyone heard
from Dale about the trees getting removed,wont
be long till flying weather,if we are going to
have to cut them down ourselves,just a
thought,my chainsaw is ready to go!!!

We will be having a club cookout later this
spring. We will be having steak and fixing like
last years. More infor as to when the date will
be.
Also we will be ordering fuel later this week.

Yes,we are byron,are you and any of your club
members making the trip,if u havent heard we are
having a meeting with the city on the 7th to
see about getting permission to have the tree
removedmfrom the field,hopefully we will get the
goahead

Comming to fly
If everything goes as planned Malcom and myself
comming over.That will be the only way I can get
my planes there.Because the trailer that I use
is in New York City right now. So as of now we
will be there.

I sure had a good time Saturday at the Fly In. I
didn't fly much but sure enjoyed the fellowship.
Beautiful day, good food and very nice planes.

Just to let everyone know, there will be an R/C
fly in at Dexter Mo. Airport Sept. 28, 2008.
Dexter is located off Highway 60 approx. 25
miles West of Sikeston Mo. Need more info let
me know.
